Epchris House is nestled at the foot of the Torrs in the Wilder Valley, in one of Ilfracombe most beautiful, peaceful and tranquil spots but remains in close proximity to the Town Centre and Seafront offering the best of both worlds.
The Epchris one of the oldest buildings in Torrs Park, dating back to 1831 set in 1. five acres of landscaped gardens with the added bonus of a heated outdoor swimming pool (available May-September only) and private car parking. The main house also has a sun terrace from which you can breakfast al fresco, enjoy a drink and take in the breathtaking scenery across the Wilder valley. This beautifully restored and appointed house retaining many original features is the perfect starting-point from which to relax unwind and enjoy all that Ilfracombe and North Devon has to offer. From the Dining room and terrace to bedrooms and bathrooms every care has been taken to make sure all needs are catered for and ensuring your stay is one to remember, for all the right reasons. We have the added bonus of one ground floor bedroom specially adapted for guests with mobility issues, en suite wet room.
On entering Ilfracombe from the A361 at the first mini roundabout bear right towards the traffic lights and move into the left hand lane. At the lights turn left marked seafront at the next set of traffic lights turn left and left again into Torrs Park and follow the road for approx 14 mile. Epchris House is on the left.
